Hi Williamg,

While we may not be sure if all astronomers sought additional evidence, I think we do know that even those who did not look for more evidence would have agreed what kind of evidence, if they could find it. Just because you are content with current evidence does not indicate that you do not think that additional evidence, if someone were to find it, could make a difference.
