Question # 12 - Physician and Wine

I picked answer choice "E" for this question. I can see why answer choice "D" is the correct answer choice; however, answer choice "E" is attractive too. We all know "D" is the correct choice; however, can you explain to me why it's better than "E"?

Hi, we are looking to support (and actually to prove) the conclusion that the evidence is inconclusive- that is, our right answer should enable us to say that "since the mechanism is unknown, and A/B/C/D/E, the evidence is therefore inconclusive."

E does not allow that. E tells us that the only time we should try to look for a causal mechanism evidence is once we know the benefits conclusively. This does not enable us to say the evidence is inconclusive
