Hi Jalen,JohnSummers June 18, 2024
I don't understand how it truly undermines Yu though. Even if "most" of the products have labels, this leaves the possibility that "some" do not have labels. This in turn shows that it is not impossible for Jason to have bought food made with pesticides. This was my initial choice, but the word most made me move away from it because it did not truly undermine her argument.Emil-Kunkin June 21, 2024
It might not completely obliterate the argument, but it deals a near fatal blow. The fact that someone shops at a store that sells some items that are not organic simply does not mean that they don't buy only organic items. Add in the fact that most of the organic foods are clearly labeled, we now know that he would have been easily able to only buy organic food, since most of the organic items are delineated as such. This directly undermines the idea that a store having some non organic ingredient means that a shopper cannot buy all organic.
