How is answer A wrong?

I feel we don't need to have overdue in our answer because it's already stated that the books are overdue.

Hi, we know that K has three overdue books, and we are trying to prove they should be fined. We know he must be fined if he has more than one overdue book (he does), some of the overdue books are not kids books, and he has been fined before.

A meets the third criterion but not the second. A only tells us that some of the books he has on loan are not kids books, not that some of the overdue books are not kids books. For A, it is entirely possible that all his overdue books are kids books, in which case he does not have to be fined.
