Hi, A through D all follow the same rough pattern as the argument: If X then Y, since we have Y, we must have X.

This pattern of reasoning describes all five of the answer chicles through D and the paragraph. However, the pattern of E is: If X then Y, since not Y, then not X. This is actually a valid argument.
