How are we supposed to deduce that a pilot cant be in more than one plane? It doesn't say all of the planes are up at the same time. Im really confused by this one

When in doubt, you can do something unless you are explicitly told you cannot. Here, we also have the numbers to work on. There are only three qualified pilots and four planes, if all planes fly at least one pilot must be in more than one plane
