Amount vs Percent
Is there ever a situation on the LSAT where you can make a proportional or percentage claim while only having been provided absolute totals or vice versa? Or is it the case that when the stimulus presents percentages/proportions you can discount any inferential MBT choice that deals with absolute totals and vice versa?

Generally I would say no you cannot infer a claim about absolute from proportions or visa versa, with the possible exception that those could be used to support another inference about a separate but related topic.
