How can I infer this?
Hello, I had a hard time answering this question because I wasn't sure what to infer from before the year. After all, it didn't mention anything about that. Can you please explain how I can come to that conclusion? I know one answer to the general question used what the correct answer says but how we can conclude that before it didn't use that by one answer later now using it?

Hi, I would start by looking to see what has changed since 1970 in order to determine what we know about the period before the 70s. The entire second paragraph is describing changes that have occurred to the study of jurisprudence, namely the rise of law and economics, and critical legal studies. This is a good match for E.
