Why can D and E not be correct?

Hello, I'd like some help with this question. I can confidently exclude B and C from our possibilities but A, D, and E all seem like possibilities without violating any rules. I watched the question explanation but it did not elaborate as to why. Thank you!

Hi, they both violate the final rule that G can't be last. Since we know that both J and M are before P, G would be last in both D and E.
