Hi, K makes an argument that we should regulate cell phones on the grounds that both cell phones and chemicals create pollution, and we regulate chemicals. This is a dumb argument. Cell phones are a minor annoyance, while chemical pollution can often be fatal. The author draws an analogy between two things that are in reality quite different.

Terry points this out, and this is what D says.

C doesn't even come close to describing terrys argument. Terry doesn't give us anything about cause and effect.
