Is A too far-reaching?

Is A wrong because the statement doesn't imply that dietary plans will include every food that is healthy, or required, thus that even vegetables and fruit are universally healthy, they are not implied to be include into those plans?

I agree that a goes too far, and I think your reasoning as to why it goes too far is quite good. We only know that fad diets recommend some set of nutrients, but we have no clue beyond that.
