Question 23
Emil-Kunkin on September 4, 2023
Hi, the biologists mentioned in 10 think that pathogens can be successful even if they kill their hosts. The fact that most pathogens that don't kill their hosts are rarely successful doesn't weaken that position at all. Directionally, it would come closer to strengthening it. If most non-kills are failures, that might slightly suggest that the bar is not that high for the pathogens that do kill. Note that I wouldn't be comfortable with C as an answer choice for a strengthener, but it certainly doesn't weaken.
