Question 5 - quantifiers?

At this point I genuinely have no idea when I am supposed to be diagramming quantifier statements. This question is riddled with quantifier statements, but the narrator doesn't even seem to acknowledge that there are quantifier statements in this passage. He goes on to diagram the passage in a completely different way than what was taught in the previous "Quantifiers" lesson. I could not be more confused at the moment because what was the point of learning how to diagram passages with quantifier statements if at this point it seems as though I am simply supposed to inherently understand when to pick and choose to diagram quantifier statements? I simply do not get it.

I'm personally against diagramming quantifiers, and sticking to diagramming the sufficient and necessary language alone. I think its important to note out how the quantifiers fit into surrounding sufficient and necessary language, but I think you don't need to diagram to do this. For example if we have the statement "all dogs are cute and most pets are dogs" we don't need to have two separate diagrams. I think it's enough to note down the most component, and just diagram the sufficient and necessary part. The most important thing to remember is that diagramming is just one of many tools in your arsenal, and there's no one answer as to when to diagram or not.
