Hi, we’re looking to prove bias in the show. We know there were more photos than other media, and that each artist could enter only one medium. We also know that an equal number of each kind of artist entered. Therefore, it must be the case that each photographer submitted more photos on average than did the average painter or sculptor. The fact that it was cheaper to submit photos is thus evidence of bias, it suggests that maybe the artists in the other two media would have also liked to submit more entries but were prevented from doing so by the entry fees.
