Should E be contrapositive of A?

I thought E would be a contrapositive construct of the stimulus. Is it wrong?

Never mind--I tripped myself over the normative part of the statement. This question can be ignored.

Good catch! Any kind of should/must/other normative statement is a red flag, and it's a slow habit to get into but it sounds like you know what to look out for.
