(B)

A is incorrect because we need to be sure that no more than few children develop interest in literature. That makes reading stories is a necessary condition.
In answer choice A reading stories is a sufficient condition.

Hi @devinfuller @zuhal what preptest and section is this from? I've been having an issue where is can't see some of the questions on my end on mobile. Much appreciated!

And it's working now! I think we need to look for the flaw here. The argument decides that kids today will not love literature, because they grow up watching tv. However, there is no reason this has to be true. The author has wrongly assumed that kids who grow up watching tv will never learn to love literature. That is what we are looking for in the right answer. A is wrong because it tells us that kids who grow up reading will love literature- but we need more info about kids who grow up watching tv.

Is "people" not being the same as "children" for this answer not an issue because we need a strengthen w/ suff. so it doesn't need to be 100% true? It's more about the chain structure?

For a sufficient assumption we do need to make the argument 100 percent true (or at least 99). However this is fine since the category of people includes the category of children. It's ok if an answer does too much, as long as it proves the argument correct.
