how is b wrong
from seeing the previous explanation, I can see how d is right, but I still don't understand why b is wrong. I didn't think it mattered if the Brazilian ants could or couldn't survive in the US.

If the predators couldn't survive, then introducing them would have no impact. This is directly contrary to the argument, which concludes it would be a net benefit to introduce them. So, the author must believe that introducing the predators will have some effect, and therefore they must think the predators will be able to survive.
