Question 14 Prep Test 93

I do not understand how the answer is not A. The answer that is correct, seems like it would follow to the conclusion. But, A would mean that the competitor is only saying that because it is their competitor and it is obviously biased and does not show any evidence for this. I am just confused on how D is the answer.

A is actually a common flaw. We cannot dismiss someone just because the person might have an incentive to say what they say. We must engage with the c,aim itself, not dismiss it out of hand because the party making the claim might be biased.
