Happy humans

H-> motivated by love and friendship Econ needs satisfied does not necessarily need motivation by love and friendship but they must be motivated by economic utility In my mind the word "yet" follows the fist sentence so the author doesn't agree with it ... Why D?

Human beings can live happily only in a society where love and friendship are the primary motives for actions.

LH ==> LFPM
not LFPM ==> not LH

LFPM, however, is not necessary to economic needs (i.e. "economic needs can be satisfied in the absence of this condition").

Therefore, human beings can satisfy their economic needs without obtaining happiness.
