Approach to rule substitution questions?

Hi, I am looking for guidance for how to approach these rule substitution questions. I watched the video which was helpful, but are there any general tips to consider when encountering these questions on future tests?

@Joseph @dfolave the key to these questions is your initial setup and the deductions you made from the original conditions of the game.

You then want to find the answer choice that, when substituted for the original condition, keeps everything exactly the same.

If any of your original deductions change, you can eliminate the answer choice.

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Why not E?

E would change the game, because it would eliminate the possibility that f is last.
