Why A?

Is A correct because X would benefit from Y rather than Z because something positive about Y and some positive difference between Y over Z? Does that question even make any sense?

@Jack so the structure here is that an option (i.e. Dolores) is superior for two distinct reasons (i.e. more skillful at securing funding and not alienating volunteers).

(A) has the exact same structure. Taking the bus is more convenient than the subway because (1) bus stops closer to her house and (2) bus goes directly to school.
