Answer choice (A) and (E) do not accomplish the same goal because we are trying to find the answer choice that if substituted for the condition that F must be released earlier than both J and L, would have the same effect on the order in which the films are released.

Though answer choice (A) and (E) both make it so that the first film is either F or K, that doesn't account for the fact that it still must be true that F is released earlier than both J and L.

All answer choice (E) does is make it true that either F or K is first, but K could be first, while J could be released before F. However, answer choice (A) makes it so that no film other than K could be before it. So, F will either be first or second, just as in our original setup.
