Question 15: If Freedom makes a voyage to Guadaloupe in week 1 and to Trinidad to week 2 which one of the following must be true?

Well first notice that we can manipulate our previous work from

fourteen rather quickly to satisfy the conditions set forth in the stem of question 15.

Again stating that Guadaloupe is going to be in week 1 in trinidad is in Week 2. Well we know

Martinique would be weak 3 Guadaloupe in 4 Jamaica, Martinique and then Trinidad. Again, coming directly from question 14.

This is a must be true question so any answer choice that isn't the case in

this hypothetical that we just drew out to the right again manipulating question

14's work is automatically eliminated because all I need is one

counterexample to disprove an answer choice in a must be true question.

So let's take a look here at (A). Freedom makes a voyage to Martinique in week 3.

Well we have that in our scenario to the right but again we don't know if that is

always the case. Right? This is a must be true question. All we've shown is

that it's possible. We haven't shown that it is necessarily the case no matter

what. So, let's take a look at the rest of the answer choices to see if we can

eliminate anything else

(B) Freedom makes a voyage to Martinique in week 4. Again you notice in our

scenario to the right here we have Guadaloupe in week 4. So (B) does not have to be

true.

(C) Freedom makes a voyage to Martinique in week 5. Again we have Jamaica so clearly that

doesn't have to be true. So (C) would be eliminated. (D) Freedom makes a voyage

to Guadaloupe in week 3. Again we've shown that it is Martinique in this scenario

so (D) doesn't have to be true. So (D) would be eliminated. (E) Freedom makes a voyage to

Guadalupe in week 5. Again, we've shown in this scenario its Jamaica. So

that would eliminate (E) and you notice without having to do any additional work

we can choose (A) as the

correct answer. Again coming from our hypothetical from question 14 we just

manipulated it a bit to make sure that we would satisfy the conditions set forth

in the stem of 15 that Guadalupe is in week 1 and Trinidad is in week 2.
